TABLE SETTING TIPS
A well set table never goes out of style. Creating a special place for friends and family to come together has always been paramount in my own home. Here are some tips on how to create your own memorable moments;
1) Use a colourful base cloth - think outside the box - a fabric remnant, a vintage table cloth, layered pieces, even a coverlet!
2) Always have candles of varying heights - everyone looks better in candle light!
3) Fresh flowers always - I love using the same flower en masse. You can create a more impactful display by separating each stem into its own vase.
4) cloth napkins are a must - they create an elevated tactile experience for your guests.
5) mix and match dinnerware - don’t get fussed about sets of china and silverware. Mix it up to keep it interesting.

Les Puces in Paris has to be one of my favourite markets to stroll and LEARN.
There are so many dealers who are fabulous at sharing their knowledge and insights. I love listening to their stories and learning about processes, or history. I always leave with a little something for my home and a ton of inspiration!
